About the Journal

Ophiussa – Revista do Centro de Arqueologia da Universidade de Lisboa started under the direction of Victor S. Gonçalves in 1996 (https://www.uniarq.net/uploads/4/7/1/5/4715235/ophiussa0.pdf). 

From 2017, this journal published by UNIARQ – Centro de Arqueologia da Universidade de Lisboa now includes a printed and digital edition. 

The main objective of this journal is the publication and dissemination of papers of interest, quality and scientific rigor concerning Prehistory and Archeology, mostly from Europe and the Mediterranean basin. 

Ophiussa – Revista do Centro de Arqueologia publishes an annual volume and includes an editorial board team, scientific committee and evaluation by external reviewers.

The journal is indexed in the Directory of Latindex with the number of Folio 26814.
