Abstract

However these lamps do not had the same attention that his precedents, the volutes and plain nozzle series, it is possible outline a general situation about his import, production and commercialization in the Iberian Peninsula. This study allow us to define areas that had different rhythms of lychnological consume. Nonetheless, we should make aware that much lamps are still unpublished and they may change these interpretations. Encouraged by a forward article (Pereira, 2014a), to witch this is a complement, we decide not stay only by a distributional or morphological analysis of these lamps. Introducing us in subjects of complex nature, we interrelate social and economic events with the morph-iconographical transformations that we observe in the late roman African lamps. The complexity of the following subjects, yet, is not finish in this pages.
