With this work we describe a route through the distinct spaces of the Traianeum of Italica, and we present the most relevant archeological data that resulted from the archeological interventions that took place in the building in 2016/2017. Of the data obtained in this new archeological activity, the pieces of information that most stand out are those that allow us to deepen our understanding of the formal configuration of the building, in its own location, at a difficult and complicated topographic point, although deliberate, in order to provide visibility, protagonism and monumentality, and in its relationship with the urban framework in which it is embedded, to throw into relief its role as an articulator from which the rest of the urban fabric develops.
